Approaching Godrevy

Godrevy is a very popular place on the north coast of Cornwall. This is not surprising as the area is full of geological grandeur, floral fantasia and amazing animals. Or in more simple terms, it is lovely.

Here we see Godrevy Island with its lighthouse and the mainland with its light horse.

A cliff top Pony Princess.  I tend to think of the ponies with flowing fair manes as the female of the species.

The posers on the path.

The path took us away from the island for a while but we could still see over the bay to St Ives.

We reached the Godrevy Headland.

There was a mix of flowers to be seen.

The weather, which had been so good, took a turn for the worse. Here we look at the sands of Hayle Towans.

I’ll finish this little set with a bear. Nobody else knew it was a bear but that’s what I saw in that rock. OK. Suit yourself!
