The island of Benbecula lies between North and South Uist. All three islands have been joined by causeways.
We found a wide, sandy beach on Benbecula and found it a spot for lunch.
What a dramatic sky!
As the rain moved in, we moved on. I fear we had done little more than what the books say people do - drive straight through Benbecula. But we had diverted and had enjoyed the island.
