We had decided, on our return from Omey, to go to Tonashindilla, the mainland jetty we had seen from the top of Omey.
We were still captivated by the rich flora of Connemara – even something as simple as a big yellow whatever! It was gorgeous.
There’s the jetty as we look back across the broad Atlantic to Omey. OK, the narrow Atlantic! The boat is called Puffin Too.
A curragh awaits a trip out to see what has been captured in creels.
More curraghs nestled under the big, austere jetty.
Look! Shirt sleeve weather.
We returned to camp and wrote post cards. Irish stamps seemed worthy of recording – much cheaper to take a photo than to buy extras!
And to finish the day, a quick look at Actons.
Seaweed and rocks on the beach.
A paddle is a must.
Goodnight!
