We found a little wooden surfaced jetty near Ardchattan and enjoyed the scenery around us.

Inevitably, for this is Scotland, there was a fish farm.

I find it hard to identify the backdrop mountains. It looks a bit Mull like.

Beach flora and geology, of course, not to mention the odd yacht.

On a little beach nearer to Connel there were geese swimming in the loch. They saw me coming and took to the wing.

They were the most common, Canada geese.

These flowers were purple. My camera seems to have rather lightened them.

Our journey took us back to Connel Bridge which can be seen elsewhere on this site and then back to camp.

We relaxed in the tent – learning more about the Scottish Islands.
We needed a bit of shopping so we paid a quick visit to Oban.

Now we prepared for the long day out that was to come. On the morrow we were off to Fort William and Mallaig.
