We were heading towards the east coast of Inishnee, but still the views were west and over Roundstone. Perhaps we’ll have a bit of foreground.

Or maybe we could say, ‘nay’, to background and just have a close up.

A view north with the mist covered Maumturks.

And now we came down a steep hill looking east.

But even here we could look
across the flowery fields to Roundstone and beyond.

Gates tended to be narrower in these parts than we’d expect. I rather think that a local farmer had a store of water here, ready for use.

This gate was our ‘target’ – a church and graveyard had once stood the other side of it although not much of the church now remained.
We’ll take a look next time.
