Kerrera – South and West (2)

 

All along the route we were taking there was the strange site of felled electricity poles. My impression was that another route had been brought in to use, shorter, but crossing more difficult terrain.

 

This view is to Mull – a more southerly part than we had seen before.

 

We started to drop down to sea level again.

 

There was a little civilisation – and an island rarity – trees.

I see another felled pole but this very remote property is served by the new wires.

 

What lovely trees!

 

We were now, more or less by the side of the Atlantic.

 

A bay looked a good spot for a picnic. Sheep thought it was a good spot too.

 

Yes. That’ll do.

There was even a patch of sand.

Yes, I will have a paddle!
