Gylen and the Castle

Gylen Castle stands on a rocky promontory near the very south of Kerrera.

There is a bay with the castle above it.

There are views across the south of Kerrera to distant Mull.

This is just part of an explanation board. Kerrera was, perhaps, better known in past times.

With our tour of the castle over, we retired to the Kerrera Tea Room. It was a tad pricey, but we felt we had earned a cuppa and a piece of Tiffin and of course, it set us up for the walk back to the ferry.
