We now began the walk back to the ferry.

From a high vantage point we could look across Kerrera Sound to a point quite close to our camp site. It was not that far from the visible mainland houses, but tucked out of site.

We came down towards sea level near a little lighthouse.

A small bay had an old boat washed up on the shore. The view across the sound include Puffin Divers place and the Mull communication mast.

Another walker was taking a look at the old boat.

A terrace of cottages with fuchsia hedge showed we were getting nearer the ferry. I note a satellite dish on one cottage.

Below the cottages, on a little beach was a tractor which had definitely seen better days.

We had now walked around the bay and the old boat provided a bit of interest for a picture including the craggy cliffs on the mainland.
We got close to the Pufin Diver set up.

A wayside box proved to be selling eggs by the 4 – ideal for camping so we did bring a souvenir back from kerrera although, of course, we ate them. But we have the label on the little egg box.

Now we could see Oban, across on the mainland. I should say that’s Lord of the Isles entering the harbour.

An interesting cultivated flower.

We were now nearly at the ferry. Here it approached across the sound.
